Short-Term Rehabilitation
"Between hospital and home"

Jewish Healthcare Center Rehabilitation Center The Jewish Healthcare Center operates the most aggressive post-hospital recovery program in Central Massachusetts. Our approach is to transition clients into a more home-like environment, while speeding their recovery along with all of the medically necessary care and rehabilitation they need. Clients are with us an average of 5 to 12 days. They include those who have had surgery for; a hip fracture, total hip or knee replacement, a stroke, a client requiring wound care or IV therapy, or others needing time to recover from a major post-surgical procedure. Amenities include spacious private and semi-private air-conditioned rooms each with a private bathroom, telephone and television.

Our Vigor Program Most importantly, we offer the "Vigor Program". This is a unique, sports medicine concept. It takes place in our 2,500 square foot Rehabilitation Center. We have twelve state-of-the-art Nautilus machines as part of our rapid recovery program. Physical, occupational and speech therapy operates seven days a week. When you are ready for discharge, the same therapists are available to follow you through our licensed outpatient program!
